Caring for your hair

Taking care of your hair involves creating the perfect cut and producing the perfect colour whilst protecting the hair's condition. Anyone who has had their hair coloured is well aware that chemical colouring services are not good for your hair’s condition.  Since 1987 Daniel Field and his research team have been focussed on developing, safer, purer and ever more effective alternatives to traditional hair colouring products. Our home hair care has been created to help you easily manage your hair at home.

Caring for our clients
Our customer service manager is Anna Valle. Anna and her service team are dedicated to making certain they provide you, our valued customer with everything you need to ensure you have a relaxing and enjoyable experience, every time. For those on a budget who need to colour their roots frequently we have a small team of hair colourists available at greatly reduced cost. The Colour Club is free to join where a root hair colour is just £29 and a full head colour £36. Please ask us for a quote for Colour Club highlighting services.

Caring for our employed staff
Natalia Lima is head of training. She is committed to turning out stylists that are highly skilled, professional and informative. In this way staff feel confident and valued. Anna Valle is head of customer service. She is committed to ensuring staff know how to look after clients in a professional yet friendly manner. She in turn looks after their well being in a similar way.

Caring for the hairdressers
At Daniel Field there are a team of ten specialists who each provide their services under a concession. They only use Daniel Field products and each sets their own price list.
Care for the environment 
At all times we operate our salon as a green business, one that places as little impact as possible on the environment.

Caring for animals
Daniel Field has long championed the care of animals in relation to hair and skin care products. We operate a policy of no animal testing and do not use animal ingredients. (vegan)

  • operating a paperless society as much as possible and only using re-recycled paper

  • Implementing water conservation measures

  • reducing the amount of waste generated and disposed of by implementing a waste minimisation/recycling program.

  • reducing non renewable energy use and implementing renewable alternatives.

  • only using Organic and Mineral Hair Colourants from The Organic and Mineral Research Institute www.organicandmineral research.com and general hair products from our own laboratory. Where this is not possible from suppliers with ISO14001 accreditation preferabl

  • buying longer lasting, energy saving equipment, second hand or from ISO14001 accredited companiess

  • giving preference to service providers that follow sound environmental practices and have an environment policy

  • using only recycled paper

  • only printing onto paper when necessary and reducing it's use

  • reusing paper on both sides

  • shredding paper, magazines and the like and reusing as packaging materials 

  • reusing packaging and when not recycling

  • monitoring packaging use and reduce

  • iusing solvent free paint to decorate

  • using cleaning materials that are non toxic, non volatile, CFC free and biodegradable

  • lowering our energy and water consumption.
